市議員李退之30日會同市府消防局、新營區義消分隊及嘉南農田水利會，市府水利局等單位，欲爭取在天鵝湖水域設置救災訓練用護岸斜坡，但因天鵝湖已在今年初納入國家級溼地範圍，會勘作業白忙一場。李退之30日邀集相關單位會勘，原擬在新營天鵝湖設置訓練用護岸斜坡，以利運送水上摩托車及橡皮艇等訓練設備，就在會勘將完成之際，水利局人員表示「天鵝湖已公告為國家級溼地」，所以相關建設與活動是否能在此地進行，都需與主管機關農業局協調。

會勘天鵝湖設斜坡 白忙一場

市議員李退之30日會同市府消防局、新營區義消分隊及嘉南農田水利會，市府水利局等單位，欲爭取在天鵝湖水域設置救災訓練用護岸斜坡，但因天鵝湖已在今年初納入國家級溼地範圍，會勘作業白忙一場。李退之30日邀集相關單位會勘，原擬在新營天鵝湖設置訓練用護岸斜坡，以利運送水上摩托車及橡皮艇等訓練設備，就在會勘將完成之際，水利局人員表示「天鵝湖已公告為國家級溼地」，所以相關建設與活動是否能在此地進行，都需與主管機關農業局協調。

附近居民表示，他們都知道天鵝湖親水公園已列為國家級溼地保護範圍，不過政府並未設立告示牌，遊客也不一定知道。嘉南埤圳溼地今年2月2日公告列入國家級溼地保護，原名新營埤寮埤的天鵝湖已納入台南保護範圍。召集會勘的市議員李退之表示，政府已公告嘉南埤圳溼地範圍卻未見市府在附近路面上有相關告示，後續是否影響消防救災救護的演練，將盡快與農業局協商。(中國時報)，
