金門金沙鎮有幾畝高粱田，連續幾年都有保育類「燕鴴」來訪，黃姓農友特地延後播耕時間，讓牠們安心築巢養育下一代，人鳥之間共譜一段堅定、互信情感，愛心感動許多鳥友。這幾畝洋溢人鳥情誼的高粱田，主人是金沙鎮雜糧產銷班黃姓農友，這幾年來，他發現每當小麥完成收割後，田中就會出現燕鴴飛來飛去，忙碌的照顧剛孵出來的雛鳥，3年來已繁衍成近100隻的族群。

黃姓農友看著雛鳥長大，也開心延後輪作高粱的時間，一直等到牠們羽翼豐滿飛離後，才放心播種耕作，高粱冒出芽時總比別人家矮一大截。這群早就將這幾畝高粱田當作自己的家，一代代繁衍下去的燕鴴，每年5、6月間一定會回來。黃姓農友喜歡牠們的「守信」、「守時」，常在一旁靜靜的看著親鳥餵食雛鳥，只要有陌生人靠近，親鳥還會打開翅膀蹲坐地上，假裝受傷吸引注意力，讓雛鳥有機會逃離威脅，讓他看了好感動因前來作客的燕鴴愈來愈多，延後播耕的高粱田也一年年擴大，晚種的高粱碰到早颱的機會愈大，損失也比別人多一些。但黃姓農友說，「好朋友嘛！不計較，何況牠們也會啄食田中害蟲，讓高粱長得更好」。低調不願接受媒體拍照，也不公開燕鴴繁殖地點的黃姓農友，不希望因為過多干擾，破壞牠們安心築巢。縣府農林科表示，燕鴴屬鷸目燕鴴，身長約24公分，翼展17至20公分，又稱「土燕子」，屬於珍貴稀有保育類動物。在金門常單獨或成群出現於小麥收割過後的農田或開闊地，會捕捉蜻蜓、金龜子等飛行中的昆蟲。，

新竹橫山社區為了釀造醬油，特別到外縣市尋找少見的大甕缸，分時間進行醬油攪拌。（陳采蘋攝）

新竹縣橫山社區發展協會從今年初開始嘗試依循古法，製造「橫山醬油」，社區理事長陳重詒與社區居民，在社區內的梨園看守寮內，分別製作約10個大陶甕的醬油，從原料大豆的栽種，到發酵、釀造等工作都由居民一手包辦，希望未來打造成社區在地特色產品。社區執行長陳華芳表示，由於休耕農地多，大約有5、60甲，加上農民年齡老化，為重新活化農地，居民開始嘗試栽種大豆與小麥，正好作為釀製醬油的原料。早期醬油都由各家住戶自己釀造，所以這次社區嘗試循古法製作，請教許多社區內7、80歲的長輩，請他們協助，指導釀造技巧。

除了自行栽種大豆與小麥外，社區理事長陳重詒表示，釀製醬油的大甕缸已相當少見，為了釀造醬油，還特別跑到外縣市才找到適合的大陶甕。陳重詒說，醬油製作過程費時又費力，一般醬油至少要6個月才算是初步熟成，而真正好的醬油則需要3年的時間，大豆需要發酵，過程中必須控制溫度與重複攪拌，陳重詒說，做醬油比想像中還來得不容易。但在社區居民努力下，第1批釀造的橫山醬油將在8月29日和民眾見面，社區將於當天舉辦成果展，會中也會展示初步釀製完成的醬油，社區未來希望能設置釀造坊，讓前來社區參訪的民眾DIY，認識醬油的製造過程。(中國時報)，

    在住家牆上或戶外枝葉上，常見到俗稱蠅虎的跳蛛身影，牠們不會結網，而是藉由絕佳的視力與跳躍能力，獵捕昆蟲。國立中興大學物理學系助理教授紀凱容和研究團隊，分析跳蛛跳躍的運動力學，利用高速攝影機，以每秒一千張照片的速度，拍攝台灣常見的跳蛛安德遜蠅虎（Hasarius adansoni）完整的跳躍及降落行為。正常情況下，跳蛛能在騰空約零點一秒時間內，翻轉身體調整角度，讓著地時的姿態接近於起跳，好在降落後隨即展開獵捕。
    紀凱容指出，在空中維持平衡是跳躍性動物的一大挑戰，過去學者已歸納出兩種平衡機制：大型脊椎動物如人類、袋鼠、蜥蜴等，端靠擺動四肢或尾巴維持平衡；而體型小的昆蟲，則藉由振動翅膀來調整身體姿態。
    這個項研究提出自然界的第三種可能：跳蛛可單憑調控一根蜘蛛絲，便能在空中快速旋轉身體，達到平衡。沒有絲的跳蛛，則因無法在空中調整姿勢，以致不能順利降落，有時需要花五倍以上的時間，才能夠站穩。除了動作分析外，研究團隊也從力與能量的角度，探討曳絲如何幫助跳蛛穩定跳躍，以及在快速運動時，絲的作用與調控機制。
    紀凱容興奮的表示，這個研究不但首度揭開跳蛛敏捷跳躍獵捕的奧祕，也是第一次證實跳蛛在快速運動中，仍能有效調控絲的拉力。研究也整合了蜘蛛的運動力學以及蜘蛛絲的材料力學。這些生物力學問題，在過去並未受到關注。興大表示，民眾熟知的故事蜘蛛人，其實也可改稱跳蛛人。
    興大表示，這項研究成果，八月七號獲得英國皇家學會刊載在跨領域學術期刊界面（Journal of the Royal society， Interface），受到國際矚目。

《進擊的巨人》的角色裝扮、電影場景還原度高，卻因劇情與原作差異甚大，遭漫迷吐槽。

今年日本上映多部漫畫改編的真人版電影，除了《寄生獸：完結篇》獲粉絲好評外，其他如《要聽神明的話》、《暗殺教室》都因無法忠實呈現原作精神，被漫迷評為「看過原著的千萬不要去看」。14日在台上映的《進擊的巨人》，甚至被戲稱為「進擊的地雷」。《巨人》漫畫自2009年連載，銷售破5000萬冊，然而隨著電影上映，負評不斷發酵。《巨人》原作者諫山創仍力挺電影，掛保證改編的部分全部經過他同意。目前《巨人》在日本上映第２周，已從首周冠軍下滑至第５名。

今年日本上映多部漫畫改編的真人版電影，除了《寄生獸：完結篇》獲粉絲好評外，其他如《要聽神明的話》、《暗殺教室》都因無法忠實呈現原作精神，被漫迷評為「看過原著的千萬不要去看」。14日在台上映的《進擊的巨人》，甚至被戲稱為「進擊的地雷」。《巨人》漫畫自2009年連載，銷售破5000萬冊，然而隨著電影上映，負評不斷發酵。《巨人》原作者諫山創仍力挺電影，掛保證改編的部分全部經過他同意。目前《巨人》在日本上映第２周，已從首周冠軍下滑至第５名。

4862萬加盟小熊？土虱：還在談

    　曾仁和今夏從三民高中畢業，錄取台灣體大但尚未註冊。顧及近來可能敲定赴美事宜，他未隨台體棒球隊至美國移地訓練，而是請假留在高雄。每天清晨與朋友上柴山跑步練體能，下午有時與父親練球，有時回母校三民和學弟練。
    　若能如願進入大聯盟球隊，曾仁和表示自己一定會全力以赴，用赴美念大學的心情，來克服人生地不熟的難關。當然，語言目前仍是他赴美發展的最大障礙，土虱除了每晚到補習班加強英語，有空也會約朋友到咖啡店，練習英語對話。
    　對於曾仁和的動向，其經紀公司在台代表保持低調，因為該團隊一向由老闆波拉斯統一對外發布消息。此外，儘管桑契斯爆料的可信度很高，但在簽約程序完備之前，球團與經紀公司都有保密協議，不能擅自對外宣布。
    　從桑契斯披露的簽約金價碼來看，波拉斯團隊的談判功力確實一流。曾仁和的簽約金僅次於曹錦輝（220萬美元）、林子偉（209萬）與王建民（201萬），為台灣歷來旅美第4高。而去年加盟紅襪的林子偉也是波拉斯客戶。，

閱讀無國界！新加坡新苗師範學院1群教師熱愛教育，有感村東國小有如童話世界的社區閱讀中心英文圖書不足，慨然協助發起募集英文繪本活動，25日專程將在新加坡募得的440冊繪本送達村東國小，讓師生很感動。村東國小在2011年斥資500萬元興建的社區閱讀中心，外觀就是1本書，牆壁彩繪則是走色彩繽紛的幾米風格，落成啟用後，立刻成為爆紅景點。

包裝果汁無原汁 應標示「無果蔬汁」

    　食品藥物管理局科長吳希文解釋，

，手搖杯現場調製，消費者可了解蔬果汁為濃縮原汁或新鮮水果，若有問題可立即詢問業者。但包裝飲料只能從包裝得知原汁含量，因此特別訂定。
    　目前規定，含十％以上蔬果汁的包裝飲料，外包裝需標示原汁含有率，原汁含量未達十％者卻無明確規範。衛生署食品藥物管理局近期預告「宣稱含果蔬汁之市售包裝飲料標示規定」，進一步訂定市售包裝蔬果汁的標示細節。
    　吳希文表示，未來添加未達十％蔬果原汁包裝飲料，須在外包裝正面顯著標示「果蔬汁含量未達十％」，或直接標示原汁比率。未添加蔬果汁者，品名應標示口味、風味等字樣，若外包裝有蔬果圖示，更應標示「無果蔬汁」。
    　若以一種或數種蔬果名稱為品名者，蔬果汁含量應占整體蔬果汁一半以上；若品名含兩種以上蔬果名稱，應依含量多寡，由高至低標示。品名若未揭露添加的所有蔬果原料，則應標示「綜合」字樣。
    　吳希文強調，新規定也一體適用國外進口商品，衛生署已通報世界貿易組織（ＷＴＯ），給予各界兩個月意見陳述期。若順利，草案最快九月公告，另訂兩年緩衝期，於民國一○四年七月正式施行。規定上路後，若未依規定標示，除須限期回收改正，還可依《食品衛生管理法》處製造業者三萬至三百萬元罰鍰。
    　市售果汁第一品牌美粒果的太古可樂表示，果汁含量本來就該清楚標示讓消費者知道。果汁大廠統一、愛之味也表示，該公司所有果汁、蔬果汁都會依政府規定標示。
    　波蜜副總楊國禎表示，關於果蔬汁包裝飲料標示規定草案，飲料業者間早已討論一段時間，大部分都已在做。草案實施還有兩年緩衝時間，相信到時候業者都會按照法規標示。，
