台灣第一個以雕塑為主題的大型徵件比賽「麗寶國際雕塑雙年獎」今年邁入第三屆，在徵件宣告記者會上，麗寶集團總裁吳寶田宣布今年擴大舉辦，首獎獎金提高至100萬元，總獎金近500萬元，是去年的3倍之多，歡迎國際優秀藝術家一同來參賽。「麗寶國際雕塑雙年獎」由麗寶文化藝術基金會舉辦，堪稱台灣雕塑界最大盛事，本屆再與英國文化協會一起合辦，期待活動能更國際化，打開台灣雕塑的國際知名度。

台灣第一個以雕塑為主題的大型徵件比賽「麗寶國際雕塑雙年獎」今年邁入第三屆，在徵件宣告記者會上，麗寶集團總裁吳寶田宣布今年擴大舉辦，首獎獎金提高至100萬元，總獎金近500萬元，是去年的3倍之多，歡迎國際優秀藝術家一同來參賽。「麗寶國際雕塑雙年獎」由麗寶文化藝術基金會舉辦，堪稱台灣雕塑界最大盛事，本屆再與英國文化協會一起合辦，期待活動能更國際化，打開台灣雕塑的國際知名度。

在宣告記者會上，總裁吳寶田、基金會執行長吳秋賢、英國文化協會處長等貴賓，共同宣布徵件活動正式開跑，新北市政府文化局、高雄市政府文化局協助辦理。本屆雙年獎與作詞人方文山共同討論出主題「蛻變Transformation」，希望「將文字的演進與我們這個世代做一個連結，透過作品把這兩者之間的關連與蛻變，以雕塑的語言形塑出來，藉以向人類文明之始—文字致敬」。徵件時間自9月1日至12月31日，凡從事藝術創作的國內外人士都可參賽，創作材質以金屬、陶土、木、石等保存性高的材質為主。明年3月將公布初審入圍名單，複審成品送件及寄送為明年4月1日至7月31日。得獎名單訂於明年9月公布，設有金獎、銀獎、銅獎各1名，優選獎17名，人氣獎1名。本屆評審團匯集海內外雕塑界翹楚，有英國皇家雕塑協會會員彼得．摩瑞（Peter Murray）、英國策展人克里斯．韋恩萊特（Chris Wainwright）、義大利雕塑家麥可．歐西里（Miguel Ausili）、匈牙利藝術學者伊斯特凡．艾諾斯（Istvan Eross）、日本雕塑家波多野泉，以及台灣藝術界黃才郎、石瑞仁、謝佩霓、陳愷璜、楊柏林、劉柏村等人。(中國時報)，
