竹縣：新竹縣竹北警分局鳳岡派出所員警，1日夜間外出巡邏勤務時，在新月沙灘停車場發現一名男子抱著女娃在路旁淋雨，下車查看後發現車內傳出陣陣燒炭味，詢問後發現該名男子打算帶著親生女兒燒炭自殺，警方立即將2人帶回派出所，挽救父女倆的性命。（珍惜生命，請撥1995）全國各縣市自殺防治專線0800-788-995(中國時報)
